Overview
SAJCO, responsible for infrastructure work at the King Salman Energy Park, sought to align with Saudi Arabia’s sustainability goals by accurately measuring CO2 emissions and improving workforce safety. The excavation-heavy project required data-driven insights to optimize environmental impact and compliance with Aramco’s high safety standards. To meet these requirements, SAJCO turned to TENDERD’s advanced fleet monitoring platform, which enabled real-time CO2 tracking, safety monitoring and automated reporting for compliance with sustainability and safety regulations.
Pain Points
High CO2 Emissions
Heavy excavation equipment released emissions that needed to be controlled to meet sustainability goals.
Hazardous Work Environment
Dangerous conditions put workers at risk, with no system in place to quickly detect and respond to hazards.
Inefficient Operations
Coordinating multiple machines and crews across a large construction site slowed down progress and increased costs.
Slow Compliance Reporting
Gathering data for environmental and safety regulations took too much time, delaying key decisions.
Impact
Reduction in Total Emissions
Real-time tracking enabled emission control.
Decrease in Idling Emissions
Detailed insights of source of emissions allowed for further carbon footprint reduction.
Equipment Visibility
Uninterrupted equipment tracking allowed to optimize fleet performance and asset management.
